Afterschool clubs are back at IYS and this time with more fun and educational experience than ever! Join the IYS Crew for 6 week sessions running now until the end of the school year. After School snacks, equipment, and training will be provided. The Culinary Club is intended for ages 14 and up:
Earn half of a high school elective credit for participating in both club sessions and nutrition events.
Culinary Club: Six week sessions begin September 17th, Every Tuesday & Thursday from 4PM – 6:30PM
Location 1009 Main Street
Students will learn how to work in a kitchen and special culinary techniques needed to work in a restaurant setting. Working alongside special guests and industry professionals, students will grow to become novice chefs. (6 slots available)
Nutrition Events (voluntary hours towards elective credit; only applicable if opt-in ) Farmer’s Market/ Food Service Learning; food demo’s, lemonade stand, and produce connection – earn credit, and meet others!
Due to limited capacity, IYS will not be providing rides for sessions at this time. Ridesharing with others is encouraged. In order to participate, parent/guardian must fill out the following form:
