Frequently Asked Questions
How will I know about field trips and club updates? When you register for the club, we ask for your email. You will receive emails from “INTEGRAL YOUTH SERVICES” with important information regarding club updates. Please do not unsubscribe from these as it is the best form of communication for us to engage with families easily.
What kind of field trips will my student be taking? Students in both clubs will be taking field trips to see local businesses in action and meet community partners. Culinary Club will take field trips to places including farms and grocery stores. Outdoor Nature Club will take field trips hiking, to bee keepers farms, and out on bird watching trails.
Can my student sign up for both the Culinary Club and the Outdoor Nature Club? Yes! If a student wants to participate in both clubs they are more than welcome to.
What if my family has preplanned vacations and my student might miss some days? This is to be expected in the Summer months, if your family has things planned and you know your student will be missing sessions, please let our staff know so that we can plan accordingly.
Can I sign my student up for the clubs after the registration date has passed? Yes, we will accept students as space allows. Sessions are limited, and registration is first come first serve. After a student has been registered, an IYS staff person will call to allow students to know their place on the waitlist.
Will I need to provide lunch and transportation for my youth? Lunch will be provided to club members through the Summer Lunch program, however students will be responsible for their own transportation.
