Giving Tuesday is here, and IYS is making it fun and easy to #givehope to at-risk youth in Klamath County. Join us in making a difference for our youth of tomorrow, together we can create a positive change.
What is Giving Tuesday? Giving Tuesday is a nationally recognized day of give back which is celebrated in November as a way for nonprofits like IYS to show their impact and where the community can show their support. IYS is making things exciting by celebrating Giving Tuesday all month long with different opportunities to #givehope to youth in Klamath and Lake counties.
How can you show your support? Impact comes in all shapes an sizes, and one inch at a time can create a mile. Here are some easy ways to get involved:
-Spread the Word: Integral Youth Services currently reaches 2% of the Klamath County population, but with your help we can reach a lot more. Spreading the word of IYS and our campaigns can be as easy as telling your friends and family about it, or posting on social media! We will also have outreach volunteer time throughout the month where we encourage the community to get involved and tell others about the impact.
-Volunteer: IYS accepts volunteers of all walks of life! In the last year, we had volunteers from colleges, probation, youth, businesses, and more join our team to provide over 1500 hours of impact for youth. Join us for this month’s special volunteer event on November 28th, when we will be decorating for the Snowflake Parade! Contact volunteer@iyskfalls.org to get started.
-Donations: Investing in IYS means investing in our youth! Whether you donate your time, bottles, money, or by attending one of our events, every inch creates a mile. Visit hypeupyourhope.square.site to make a donation, or attend one of our donation events:
Bottle Drop Give: From November 15th-December 2nd, all bottles and cans which are recycled through IYS will be matched 20% by Bottle Drop! Bring your cans down to the main office, or schedule a pick up!
Abby’s Pizza: On November 28th, Abby’s Pizza on 1919 Austin Street will donate 20% of their sales from the night to IYS! Whether you order for delivery or eat in their lobby, a portion of the money goes back to IYS.
Season’s Helpers: For the months of November and December, IYS is helping our neighbors through yard clean ups, decorating, and more! We ask for a minimum donation of $100 per yard, Sponsor a friend or schedule your yard at https://forms.gle/zRvMf5CoRP5qHKGw8
