Love our Children day is a U.S. Nationally recognized day which takes place every year on the first Saturday in April. As the month of April is also for National Child Abuse Prevention Month, National Love Our Children Day is part of the campaign to raise awareness about all forms of child abuse. This year, IYS is hosting a “day of play” where youth and their families can celebrate each other. The event will have various activities from physical engagements such as soccer and hoola hooping to quick fun with community partners! Come explore, learn more about what’s happening in the community, and get engaged at Love our Children day!
